What can I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit for services consists of completing the new patient packet. The process usually takes less than 20 minutes. We will be available to answer and explain all documents prior to signing. Once signed, you will be asked a series of questions to complete a comprehensive assessment. The goal is to evaluate your strengths and needs to help guide the treatment process.
How long will my appointment last?
Most sessions are 45 to 50 minutes.
Do you take self-pay patients?
Yes. We welcome cash and check payments.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept most insurance. A full list can be found on the Insurance page.
What is your privacy policy?
Our privacy policy can be reviewed and printed from the Forms page.
How do I make an appointment?
Please call 480-779-9050 to schedule an appointment during normal business hours, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm or use our Contact page to email our staff and schedule an appointment

Do you prescribe medication?
Medication for any behavioral health problems may be prescribed by a psychiatric provider depending on what provider you wish to make an appointment with.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy approach developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro to help people heal from trauma or adversities such as issues of abuse, bullying, domestic violence, grief/loss, attachment wounds, abandonment, PTSD, and many other complicated life issues. EMDR therapy is now validated as an evidence-based approach and included in SAMHSA (the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) and the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices. In addition, EMDR therapy has been validated by over 20 randomized controlled clinical trials.
